Leipzig 2018

In October this year the choir will undertake its second international tour: this time to the heartland of Johann Sebastian Bach in Germany.

 

Representing the pinnacle of choral polyphonic writing in the Baroque period, Bach's celebrated motets are very much at the heart of the choir's repertoire. With a tour itinerary including the Thomaskirche, Leipzig, the Divi Blasii church in Mühlhausen and the Köthen Schlosskapelle, Anton Bruckner Choir looks forward to giving performances of these masterpieces, interspersed with a selection of Bach's most famous organ works.

All performances are free to attend, however a donation to the church is requested.
